It’s Ok

to not be ok

Building a future of understanding and support.

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness around mental health and suicide prevention. Through partnerships with mental health advocates and organizations, our events and speakers reach over 40,000 students, parents, teachers, and community members each year.

When we started this organization, we understood we might never fully know the number of lives we impact. But we see the positive effects our speaking events have, and we know that mental health education is crucially important and urgently needed.

There are many people out there who need to know it's okay to ask for help. It's okay to not be okay. Our mission is to empower and inspire as many people as possible to keep having open and honest conversations about mental health—for themselves and for those they care about.

Resources

Millions of people in the U.S. are affected by mental illness each year.

Whether you’re looking for ways to help yourself or a loved one, our Resources page offers trusted information, tips, and connections to mental health organizations and helplines. Together, we can empower each other to recognize the signs, start the conversations, and take steps toward mental wellness.

You are not alone.

  • Frankly, the number of teens with issues today are at an epidemic level and we are seeing the age of the young people who are struggling emotionally and mentally is getting younger and younger. Duck Cup, through the speakers that they have provided to TCU the past 3 years has had a positive and major impact on the teenage students and staff in the Tri-City United School District. Thank you Duck Cup!
